Academic Foundation
Tony’s approach to food safety litigation is built on a strong educational foundation:
- J.D. from the University of Houston (2007), magna cum laude
- Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of New Mexico (2002)
- M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of New Mexico (1997)
- B.A. in History and Political Science from Seattle Pacific University (1994)
His academic achievements include serving on the University of Houston Law Review as Publishing & Marketing Editor and membership in prestigious legal honor societies including Order of the Coif.

Before focusing exclusively on food safety law, Tony served as a professor of Public Administration and American Government.
